So, got the fd finally runnin after it had been sitting for 12 years. Seems i have a few electrical issues. The car runs fine less i plug in the connector that is connected to the air pump. the cooling fan relay 3 clicks like crazy if it is plugged in. car starts up to bout 2500 rpms and then dies. so i unplug the connector and everythings fine, idles at bout 1500rpm. then whats weird is if i use my front windshield wipers...the car dies. the wipers don't even work. so...where to start to figure out this issues now?

 

New battery? Check the alternator? As for the air pump, does it engauge? Maybe seized up. Might be a short to the wipers. I would check the battery and alternator first though.
