Feedback on new Greedy E-Manage ECU

I just ordered the new Geddy E-manage system... Has anyone used it yet and what did they think?
My local mechanix recommended it with the mods I have installed. Please advise... It wil piggy back the stock ECU and connect to the laptop for advanced tuning.

While your mechanic is right, you do need an ecu, I wouldn't go with that choice.

In my opinion, you are much better off with getting a Pettit ECU, rather than a universal piggy-back ecu like the e-manage. The e-manage does not possess high enough resolution to tune for a turbocharged rotary. The Pettit ECU's are safe and are tunable via $45 chips from Pettit.

If I were you, I would send the e-manage back if possible. You can pick up a used Pettit ECU for the same price as the e-manage.

Of course, the best overall route is to get a Power FC and to get it tuned properly. However, that is a more expensive solution and if you do not live by someone who knows the PFC, it can be difficult to deal with.
