Hey guys, can you take a peek at these pics and tell me how messed up, ugly, screwed up, and ghetto this engine bay is? I just wasted half my Sunday and drove 120 miles round trip to look at this "perfect inside and out" '93 RX7. Needless to say, I was not pleased with what I found:
Outside:
-Paint in bad shape everywhere(silver)
-Misc. dings and dents everywhere
-white aftermarket ugly beat up vented hood
-front and rear bumpers beat up BAD
Inside:
-No radio, all speakers ripped out
-SAFC dangling from wires
-dash/seats OK shape
Motor:
-I have no idea whats good/bad about it, it looks like crap
-radiator hanging on for dear life(it wiggles around when you touch it)
-Beat up Greddy FMIC
-I have no idea if both turbos are even plumbed in
-engine bay is painted purple
-It was hard to start, then died intermittenly at stop lights. They stated it was a bad fuel pump? Anyway, it was FAST as hell though. It had no power/torque below about 3500RPM's then it instantly hit 12psi of boost and TOOK OFF.

Needless to say, I won't be getting the car unless they want to sell it for about 1/4 of their asking price of $13000!!

***also if your looking for a car out here i think sweet7, if i remember right is, selling an actual nice one for about the same price. check the mountain section.

 

i'm amazed that runs... looks like half the bolts are missing on the engine!
buy the gearknob.
