Phew, that's pricey! I have seen some Japanese companies that offer spacers that go between the stock tranny pan and the tranny. Give you some more gear oil and helps reduce tranny temps.

I'd e-mail Jason at JT Imports (http://www.jt-imports.com) - he's handy with sourcing JDM stuff.

I would probably only get it if you do a lot of track time - I can't see where else that would be helpful. $300 is a lot to spend on something like that .

I was looking at that as well, just need to see if I can fit it in my budget, with the other stuf I am ordering from them. I don't mind the price, aftermarket oil pans go for $400. YEah sapcers would be cheaper, but not a fan of doing it that way, besides you do not have the cooling fins.

The stock tranny pan does have cooling ribs in it, just not as much as this one .

IMHO this is the kind of mod you do when you run out of other stuff to mod . If it was cheaper, it would probably be worthwhile.

Isnt 33,600 yen only about $125? I can see getting it to here as being expensive.

Even if it isnt on their website, just call or fax it in. They are the official distributor for FEED in the US (or something like that).
