fd3s tranny seperation

whats the trick to getting the tranny to split from the engine? I got the whole assy out the car on the ground all bellbolts undone and it wont seperate any help would be appriciated

you need to pull the coller out of the pressure plate that hold the throw out bearing in. that our you can spin the flywheel and unbolt all the pressure plate bolts.

choller sorry. Its called a wedge choller and has a ring on the other side of it. You can seperate them by useing a pry bar and pull the throw out bearing out and it should slide out.

If you plan on working on you car more get a FSM. Its a life saver and would keep from running to the computer every time your hit a brick wall.
