FD3S right-hand to left-hand drive conversion
Hey, if your friend really wants a LHD and before he starts a job that will cost him thousands, I will trade him even up for my car with all its mods....
Tell him he can see my car at www.cardomain.com/id/jeff48---BTW I haven't updated the site recently so the engine problems have been solved with a new engine (street ported and in great condition). I also have a full time carPC installed.
I would love to have a RHD stock FD. There won't be many of them in the states and licensing them in Illinois is no problem as long as they pass a special emissions test and a few other things. I have an acquaintance who recently got his RHD JDM Skyline licensed here.
As far as an actual conversion, I believe the DP and MP are different, because of the steering box, but may not need to be changed out.

Secondly I would like to state the use of the car.
My friend has already had all the previous RX-7 versions (FB '85, FC '91TII, FD '93). He wants to buy an S8 FD, because it will be in a much better shape than all the S6 cars here in Greece, plus the 280+ hp engine.
His goal from what I understand is to build a street driven race car (racing susp, big brakes, roll cage, up to 400hp, removed interior, etc.)
So the A/C, maybe the ABS and all those other useless things are not important.
Since it hasn't been done anywhere from what I have seen, I would like to know if he (with my help) can do this, and the cost of the whole thing.
