haha, A good friend of mine got rid of a pretty quick S4 for an FD. I agree though, the S4 is one hell of a car, even if it's a little porky.

And I thought I was sick

...but obviously I am normal.

I was thinking about posting the same thing last night...Ha!

I am quite concerned about this whole FD addiction thing. It has even bothered my sleep. Last night I dreamed there was some liquid coming out of my exhaust pipe and I was worried it was anti-freeze. I think I woke up in a cold sweat.....I am not joking here...

Even if I got no where to go, I will slip out to the garage to sit in the car, like some drug user looking for another fix, and I found myself being thankful that the car was actually better than sex, because you could go for a drive anytime. Is that ill?

I think I am going to seek professional help......or maybe sell the FD before she lays down on me....

Your so adicted you'd couldn't sell it. Guy would come by to look at it and have a little stain on his shirt, and you would be like he's not good enough. Evan if you did find someone right for the car you would cry for weeks when it was gone.

It's not an addiction. It's more of an obsession. I'm obsessed too. Heck, my study breaks are what? Coming to the forum...checking ebay for RX7 parts, reading about this or that re: the FD, etc etc. It's well past an established obsession. And to make matters worse, I want another one... LOL

I have an obsession with mine too. My wife thinks I'm crazy, my daughter thinks I'm crazy, my neighbor thinks I'm crazy, hell even my dog thinks I'm crazy. I stock up on Meguirres wet wax. You know the one you use between washes.

sounds like my friend Aleem, he named his pitbull "boost"

he got it when it was a baby and the dog always revolved around the car. serious that dog has like never missed a project Aleem has done to my car or his and he guards the cars with his life. when ever anyone tries to get near the cars he gets up and wants to kill you. hes is rotary inspired

Wow...you inspire me lol. I'm terrified of having too much pressure from a family, wife, kids, etc in the future, to ditch the FD.

All of my girlfriends have had a problem with my "other girl". That explains why I'm 24 and not married. You must share me with my car. Small price to pay the way I see it.

Here's my level of obsession. Some people cry about the way their FD is depreciating in value. I don't care if the value drops to $100. I'll be able to go out and buy more, more, more. Might be nice to have a black one, a red one, a yellow one, a ....
