Are FD stock pedals the lightest?

Yes fairly light. I have brand new MOMO ones but I like the stock ones better. Weight really doesn't matter much on a peddle. Grip and feel are more important.

I know 7s are known for being lightweight and having great power to weight ratio, but come on... Pedals! They look cool, they feel good, and yes they are aluminum. I really doubt the difference in weight will burden your car. What are you gonna say to the guy in the car next to you, "My pedals are lighter then yours." But really, I do like the pedals, but really doubt pedals are performance items.

i even heard that there are holes drilled in the foam of the seats to make wieght reduction i dont know if this just pertains to the r1 or what but thats what i heard

yes, there are holes drilled... theer are about 6 of them and they are drilled in the fiberglass of the seat on the bottom... they are about 1.5 inches in diameter.
also, weight saving is collective... every once counts!
the biggest weight saver besides taking stuff out if replacing the hatch and window with carbon fiber and lexan... saves almost 70lbs i belive!
