the car will crank but wont turn on. i changed the battery and its the same thing. it starts out strong, but eventually will start to die, like it barely cranks.
my mechanic (non rotary specialist) stated that the ecu isnt feeding fuel to the car (or something like that)
sounds right?

Have the mechanic change the fuel filter then check the fuel pressure . Has he or she checked to see if the injectors are clicking as the car is cranked .Are the plugs clean and firing . Is the compression good ?

compression is good.
he also did check the spark plugs.
from what i understand, its definitly something to do with the fuel. he said that he added fuel to the ignition (or something like that) and the car started.
i know he isnt bsing, hes been the family mechanic for over 15 years =p

let us know how it works out. I had a problem like that with my FD when I first got it. I didnt have time to work on it right away, so it sat in the garage for a week. When i got back, it was fine, and has been ever since, lol. April (that bitch of a car) always kept me on a short leash like that, lol.
