FD runs low 11s with full interior, sound system and 20 inch rims!

Hey guys!

This car rolls on 20 inch rims and used to be sponsored by Sony. As you see it in this picture, the car weighs 3000lbs and it runs 11.3 @ 126. Full interior, full system and 20s on the front!! It ran the time on slicks of course and with a slipping clutch. A twin plate clutch is being installed.

The engine has been rebuilt with standard seals, large street port and a few other

Turbo is a TA45 Garrett with 76mm front wheel and a 1.05 exhaust housing with a 68mm blade I believe. The time was run on C16 and the temp outside was well into the 90s. Wastegate is HKS 60mm and exhaust manifold is custom made by the workshop. Intercooler is custom made as is the i/c piping.

ECU is a Microtech LTX8. Primary injectors are standard and secondary are 1650cc I believe, not 100% sure on manufacturer, more than likely bosch.

The diff is a 4.44 LSD, not sure of manufacturer, I can check if anyone is interested. Also, the drive shafts are standard Mazda. The car drove itself onto the trailer at the end of the day

Is it built for show or go?

There are no fewer than 4 "tanks" under the hood. What are they all for. First one is the AST, 2, 3, 4 are for?

You can clearly see the turbo in the engine shot.

Obviously it's for show only. 11 sec et is slower than stock.

How'd you get the silver coated interior pieces? Paint?

Way too much lo-rider style for for me with the paint, stereo and wheels ...

Yep, that's the place they decided to save weight-- so they could get into the 11s
