fd radiator or hose
shut off my car saturday and saw a slow leak [1st time]
looks like it is dripping from radiator at first glance or hose that i can't see in front
nose of car
can someone send me the quick link or post a reply on procedure to look at this area
i have limited access to computer and need to go back to work and my work truck has a worse coolant problem to deal with right now
i have had rx7's for 10 yrs. but haven't worked on my fd coolant system yet
i just replaced the slave and clutch master cylinder and have no problem working on cars, except for time to do everything
thanx

Well I don't like to cut into your time, but I think you really ought to replace every coolant hose in the engine bay. The turbo coolant hoses and radiator hoses are prone to bursting first, but by the time they get that weak the others usually aren't far behind.
Also if your radiator and AST are stock you should replace them too. Definitel don't drive the car until you're sure the leak is gone. Some cars can handle a little coolant loss. FD's aren't that car.

the car does have all the reliability mods
and i do understand about rotary not like being watercooled perfectly
i know the water pump was changed and i thought most of hoses
will look at them all in next day or two
if someone can send link to the repair manual to download that would be great
i know they cost 125 from dealership

Go here for the service manual. Scroll down to the "3 rd gen section" and click on the 1st link for the manual in Adobe format:

Don't forget the AST tends to split. Thats the plastic tank that is between the water pump and radiator. There is a hose to the AST from the water pump and goes to the radiator.

Just squeeze the coolant hose coming from the filler neck to the radiator and listen for the leak, extremely simple unless you have the stock airbox than you might have to take it off. This method never fails me.
