FD Owner Age Check! Young Punk, Up And Coming, Center Stage, Old Dude?
First car Ford windstar when I was 16 saved and worked my *** off hustling valet making upwards of 1k a week over the summers. When I was 18 I bought my FD, I've always loved it since I was 10 when I saw it on ebay. I distinctly remember my friend telling me "Man those cars look cool but they are unreliable". I still laugh to this day. My age now is 22 for the record.
I still to this day cannot find a car more worthy of my admiration and dedication. My blood from the scratches and cuts, my sweat from the hours of working on the car in the garage or in the sun cramped sometimes, my tears from my one an only accident and my hard earned money that I have sunk into this piece of me. I can safely say I could not have found a better outlet.
I'm an overly social person but I really do consider this car almost a friend. There's definitely a special bond between Rx owners (Esp FD owners) and their cars. If you don't feel that bond or if you really don't feel the car is immediately for you, you should just get rid of it and send it off to more deserving owner. One thing I've learned about this car is, it's not a car that grows on you. You don't settle for an Rx7, you just know it's the car for you and that probably nothing else out there will make you as satisfied.

22, been messing with cars since i was about 12 and feel like im 30+. Wish i could own a FD
but i cant justify taking out a loan for a "race car" to me it makes no sense. I do own a FC, 2 hondas for DD, and money tied up in some drag/full street cars that should make some records in 2010
I want a Fd and Genesis coupe. i would give all my cars away and a ********....
