The FD may get stolen

Well today I found out that my grandfathers tenent saw a 2 kids outside my grandfather's gate. One kid was sure and confindent that he wanted to steal my car "Look it's easy, lets do it come on, we could do it it's right there" That's what one was saying to the other. then the other saw that my grandfathers tenent was watching him and said no, no dont do it lets go now.
I have a big iron gate with a chain around it, and lock.
Does anyone know how good the stock Fd alarm is?Maybe I could pull some fuses w/o tripping the alarm?I was also thinking about that red boot tahat goes aroud the tire.
And also these kids wanted to do this at 2pm.!!!!With my grandfather in the driveway!!!!

Well if there retarded enough to try and steal a car...

I don't know much about FDs right off the bat but is it possible to pull the fuel pump fuse or pull the spark plug wires.

Two things:

(1) FDs are easy as hell to break into if you know how to do it. It's so easy it's scary. I have two alarms and an ignition kill on my R1.

(2) You can pull the EGI fuse from under the hood. The sucker ain't starting, and they will have to tow it away to steal it.

i think the simplest thing will probably be to put one of those steering wheel lock things on

or alternatively you can be liek Mr Bean and take your steering wheel with you

yeah, take out the EGI fuse which is located in the fuse box next to the battery...once you take it out if they try to start it the engine wont turn over, it will just crank but not start..

Or make a fuel cut off switch

I just randomly came across this, I have an FC.

Anyway, make a switch for the fuel pump. Turn it off when you get out of the car, don't make it in an obvious place... they hotwire and drive your car half a block when it suddenly dies and won't start up again. Man what a POS car!!!

car alarm

Disconnect the battery and run a burried extension cord out to the car.. Cut the cord and connect one of the wires to the chassis some how and plug it in....

maybe if they live past the electricution they will learn not to mess with it!!

GoodfellaFD3S already said this?

Just upgrade your insurance policy now that you know that someone is trying to steal your car.

if someone wants your car bad enough, its gone man!

other then getting lojack or something like that, there is not very much you car really do to stop them, look at rotaryknights fd, it had 3 alarms and was behind a guarded gate and it was gone! buy good insurnace and you can just get a new/better fd later. that or find the guys and fk them up pretty good with a bat
