It is on the rectangular black fuse box located on the driver's side of the engine bay. Clearly marked. Without it, you get no spark. Otherwise all else works.

Edit: got beaten to the punch a bit, lol.

camcorder is your friend. there's ways to prevent it from being driven off, but it can still be damaged enough to be considered totalled by thieves. get your hands on a good camcorder and keep a close eye on it

Yeah I would setup a camera to watch it. Maybe even watch the car from a far and try to catch them then beat their asses or call the cops. Its not hard to stop if you know who is doing it and where they want to do it.

they sell those flamethrower kits that will shoot flames out the sides of the underside of the car. And i think i heard about door handles that will shock the living hell out of you.

If you have a Power FC, you could set your rev limiter to like 700 rpms

I locked my keys in my car this one time at band camp with it running...TWO locksmiths (suppose to be the best is Charlestown) couldn't break in. Ended up breaking my passenger door..fawkers. They didn't charge me, and I was able to fix it. Made me feel good, that lock smiths with diagrams and the right tools couldn't break in with me watching.

I'm surprised to hear Rich say, it's really easy?!?!

What about if they just tow it away? Most alarms unless they have a level sensor wont detect that.

The shop near me has a nice alarm kit my neighbor reccomended that has a motion sensor and a vibration sensor. He says he will leave his T-Tops off in his T/A and not really worry too much because it will go off if anyhing moves within it. I'd imagine the vibration sensor would sense the rough movements that are typical of towing.

I plan to upgrade soon, I just dont want them to ghetto it and hack the harness up to get it working like my Thunderbird was... whoever did that install was terrible.

your best bet is definitly the ignition kill...

or if you want to be unique just put land mines all around your car (like 15 feet away of course) then when they even try to take it... they wouldnt be able to... and it also solves your problems in the future too

pulling the fuel pump fuse underneath the dash would work too. The car will run for a few secs till it's out of fuel. They wouldnt get 5 feet. The fuse is on the top row 3rd from the left. 20 amp fuse (yellow) if i remember correctly

who would be stupid enough to steal a car from a garage unless they wanted it really bad. Just keep the garage door closed? and to be safe take the fuse out and set the alarm. if you really want to be safe get a club for it also.

you have a big iron gate with a lock? ok thats a start.. well start investing in some security.. get one of those wheel locks to lock your wheel, pull the EGI fuse like someone said above..those will work for now. maybe later on, get the quick disconnect steering wheel (i have one)..its not 100 percent that your car wont get stolen but now it gives thieves only one option to steal your car and that would be a tow truck..

I for one like the shocking door handle idea.....a little 10,000 volt shock would make them change their minds.

that's why it's always good to know a couple ghetto people... that will and might help save you from your car being jacked...

or just assimilate with them "Thugs" that the way you can be sure nothing will go wrong with your car, and on top of that, you get parts for free too...

The Enemy of your Enemy is your Friend....

As for me, my car is broken down, so I'm not too worry... heheh..

I locked my keys in my car, right in front of the hobby shop on Lejune. My families buisness is a locksmith shop. I grew up working there, it was an ego killer, but I had to ask for help. Guy walked out with the typical $20 slim jim kit, slid it in teh door, and the door was open in 15 seconds. The alarm went off, stock alarm. It goes off if the door is opened in any way other than using the key on the outside lock.
The question that came to my mind is .. what good is an alarm going to do. Unless it has ignition cut, or lojack or similiar it will just announce that your car is leaving ...

One caveat to those who say "buy the club" I had a club on another car of mine, when I was living in Queens. Would-be thieves easily broke the club. Luckily for me they couldn't figure out my engine kill setup. When the police came, they said that it's very easy to break the club and showed me how to do it....it WAS very simple. I won't mention how to do it here...

clubs are NOT hard to get through. Can pick one open in under a minute with a pick gun or the right manual rake and tensioner. And the lock itself isn't that indestructible. The pins shear fairly easily.

^^its not even about the club itself.. if they have the club for the steering wheel, all you have to do is cut part of the steering wheel and the club can slide off..can be done in about 2 minutes..
