The good thing about the FD is it's speed, I did the 23 hour drive in 18
I pretty much did the same thing when I bought my 94 R2. I went from somewhere outside of Dallas to Southern California in about 23 hours. 5 hours the first night and then 18 hours straight the next day. Luckily I had one of my buddies to help me with the driving. I didn't have any problem with the car at all and no problems with overheating. It was January when I did this so we didn't have to use the AC that much.

I drove my car from LA to Seattle in one night only stopping for gas. Just checked my fluids etc every stop and watched my Power FC commander for the water temp etc.

Unfortunately my wife does not drive a stick so I drove the whole way. I remember stopping once in Arizona to get a few hours of sleep. I woke up yelling and grabbing the steering wheel, thinking I that I had just fallen asleep and had run off the road!!!!!

Hmmmm, I know I passed you somewhere just past Monteagle a couple of months ago. Those wheels are hard to miss. You were headed towards Atlanta, and I was headed to Nashville.

When I came back on Sunday I thought I saw your car again headed north on 75, between Atlanta and Chattanooga.

I was was headed home to Snellville.

At the time I was in the GTP, but I did drive my RX7 back from Nashville back in May, after buying the car in Chattanooga from an individual.

So was that you?

i drove 6 hours to myrtle beach from va in my RX7
the ride was fairly comfortable for me a 64 210 gentleman
im assuming your trip is highway,
should be fine lots of air, low rpms, low temps
i dont see any ill effects from this unless your car is already doomed
