FD idle question
FD idle question
hi,
i just got my FD rebuilt, plus some mods. it had a blown rotor when i bought it. car runs fine, perfectly drivable and everything. but every time i stop or clutch in the engine revs to 1500 rpm then back down to 1000 rpm 5 times then settles at 1000 rpm. plus the idle is rough, at 1000 rpm the car shakes around quite a bit. but once i start going or give it some gas it doesnt shake. when the rpm dips back to 1000 the oil pressure gauge drops to damn near 0.
anyone have any ideas? or is this normal?
the mods that i added on while the engine was apart were:
greddy FMIC
ported engine (street port)
went non-seq with stock turbos
greddy type rs BOV
power FC w/ commander
koyo radiator
mini battery
thanks so much

i did some research and there are some ppl say it maybe the BISS screw and the rubber washer?
what other things can it be?

Idle air control is the IAC.
Its an acronym.
And if you're standing in front of your engine bay, look at the UIM (upper intake manifold, another acronym lol) and feel behind it. Its a tiny starter looknig device that has a harness hooked to it.
