FD good for a 17-18 yro?

Well I have been lurking for a while now and now I have finally joined!
Well my question is, is a FD a good car for a 17-18 yro? I currently drive a FJ Cruiser. Although I HATE driving my bros Edge mustang, will the FD be ok for me?
I think the reasons I hate the edge is because I can't see crap out of it (the limo tints ALL around also factors in) and its low. I got used to the FJ already...
I am soon to get a job...minimum wage...at a zoo. I do plan to use it as a DD but I don't really travel much. I do have a clue on how to drive stick though...
Help!?
Thanks

making minimum wage, i would say no, and if its your DD, thats a definite no.. the body will ware, interior will ware, and if you ever want to replace them, it'll cost you a fortune, just for the defroster vents, its $50. Not to mention the maintance your gonna have to do on the rotary engine, and/or get a rebuild, if it ever blows up on you. i'd suggest another car, or get a different DD, and keep the 7 at the house.

Read up on the forum, then decide if you afford and maintain it.

Its not for a daily driving vehicle and the insurance will cost more. I use my other car for DD and the FD for "recreation"

I got my FD when i was 17, and it was a daily driver, now eight years later i just put its third engine in. But, I will have this car forever.
