Ouch Sorry to see that on the up side, it's not another "I lost my father / eye etc.." thread, those are horrible ! Human life is far more precious than ANY FD. But it is sad, to see another one go, this time with no fault of the owner... (Irony)

Lesson 1: Don't drive in Rain or Snow if you can't controll your right foot.
Lesson 2: Don't hire a transport co. that can't do it either

I didn't know that at first, but hey, they must be good right? Check it out.

Mike, I'm def. gonna give that a look, since I'm going to have to transport my car soon. But Fedex doesn't offer insurance (just a declared value, which is diff, not sure how, but obviously puts me at unease). I'm gonna see if Passport Auto Transport offers insurance however. The direct link (if anyone is interested) is http://passport.fedex.com/

What are you trying to point out? The absolute need for a roll bar/roll cage? It's hard to tell from the pic what happened...it could have torn apart from the truck and flipped over (lots of momentum there involved), or even worse, it stayed stuck to the truck, the truck rolled over on top of the FD, ensuring it's demise.
