FD Fuel Starvation

Hey all,

A quick note, the Surge Cover Group Buy is back up--the thread was accidentally removed during a forum update. For those that don't know, the Surge Cover addresses the FD's tendency to starve below 1/2 tank under heavy cornering, especially left-hand turns.

Good to know! Isn't it below a 1/4 tank?

I've actually starved at about 5/8 of a tank on long left handers (with R-compound tires) but it seems to vary from car to car. For those who have had this happen...well, you know it when it does. It's quite abrupt and jarring, and I've heard from a several people who feel they lost their motor because of it. But mostly it just sucks to have your engine cut out suddenly when you're at the track or autoX.
