FD A/C Delete

I've deleted all the mechanical items in the engine bay (condenser, compressor, drier, etc) and was curious if anything needs to be done on the electrical side. Will I get a bunch of fault codes if I don't do anything to the wiring

I capped them in place. Would like to keep the delete as reversible as possible, hence the question about the wiring. If it was permanent, I would delete the evaporator and remove the wiring back to the source.

Dont mess with the wiring. The AC button on the dash will still kick up your fan speeds if you wish and can be useful.

So I took my interior out a while ago, and I'm starting to put everything in.
I'm doing the AC delete as well, but also wanted to keep it reversible.

Just for my sanity, I cap the two tubes on the left (silver) right?

Yes. The other copper tubes are for your heater core. Best would be to use a threaded cap, but i couldn't find any that size and just used a high temp vinyl cap which I zip tied. (i got the 100 count bag from M.Carr and will let you have a couple for the cost of shipping. PM me if you want them).

That said. If you have your dash apart, you have the option to put it back w/o the evaporator. That would mean pulling out the dash (or close to it) to put back the evaporator if you ever want to go back to A/C, but you are at a stage where you don't have to pull the dash to get the evaporator out (if you never go back to A/C). Since my dash was intact and i wanted a reversible option, the choice for me was easy. If you do delete the evaporator and still want heat, there's a blank connector that replaces the evaporator. However, it may be NLA.
