NC FD Beltline Trim Removal - Procedure Wanted

Getting ready for paint and down to removing the beltline trim between the doors and windows on the passenger and drivers doors. Does anyone have the procedure for removing without buggering up the parts. Replies appreciated.

If you can't simply lift it up and out without tugging hard you'll have to take off the interior door panel cut into or remove the plastic liner and reach in and pull all the white plastic tabs back to release it.

The tabs are easy to break so removing the panel is probably your best bet. Also pull gently at each end of the strip because the tabs there are also easy to damage.

Figured this out. In addition to the (5) white tabs there is a snap just below the door handle as well. A gentle tug released one easily but the other snapped due to age I suspect.
