My power antenna stopped going up. I can hear the motor turning but it doesnt move the antenna. I have a perfect power antenna from a low mileage FC that was working like a charm when removed. Are they interchangeable?

 

No they aren't interchangeable. I found that out the hard way. It's a funny situation cause I have an FD antenna and you have an FCantenna. I bought the FD antenna brand new and didn't know it cause I have an FC...so if you would be willing to pay for the shipping since your's is used then I will send you my FD antenna and maybe we could trade. It would probably be cheaper than buying a new antenna. PM me if you would like to exchange.

PS. If you pulled out the antenna on the FC make sure the tab is still on there. Without the tab then it't useless.

 

I believe that the FD antenna is the same as the 929.

 

its been so long since i changed mines out, but i believe i payed $20 from the dealer for mines. I say go with OneLastTry, an even trade would be perfect for your guy's situation.
