Remove the plastic interior side panel on the right side of the hatch, and the rear plastic panel. Careful of the plastic retaining plugs and there are two or three 10mm nuts to remove from studs holding the side panel. You can then access the connector going to the antenna. The lead from the antenna is only about 6 inchs long IIRC.
