FD almost dies and bucks when throttle applied..
ok. itll start fine. when i go to drive if i hit the gas more than the slightest little bit the car will fall on its face and backfire really fast. if i rev it fast sitting there it will do it when i hit some boost pressure.
now i had a bad fuel pump and replaced it. while replacing it my roomate in his infinite wisdom yanked on the green circuit opening relay with plyers and smashed it. (thought he was helping) now it doesnt work but if i close the relay manually the pump will run and the car will run. BUT the main circuit (coil part) of the relay is broken. does this route to some other electrical device that is now idle because its not getting any power?
any advice would be good or if there is any more info i can share...please let me know.

i forgot to mention because of all this i changed the plugs too. i checked the wires for connection and correct plug. i pulled one off while it was running (stupid) and found out that they emit pretty damn good spark
thought maybe one was fouled.

im looking in my manual to see if the coil side of the relay leads to something after the relay. the diagram shows it going to the ecu terminal 1T.
im guessing my ecu is reading 'no fuel pump' and the fuel pump relay is not being triggered by the ecu also. so according to the manual my fuel pump when i ground it out is being governed by the fuel pump resistor. therefore it is stuck in low pressure mode i think. so when i get on the gas i guess the car is getting deprived of fuel pressure?
does this seem correct people?
so in other words the ecu controls both the circiut opening and fuel pump relay. the circuit opening relay sends power to the pump... and the pump runs on low mode till the ecu tells it to go to high. so i need a green circuit opening relay... why am i scared to see the price?
