FD aircon pump

Guys,

fitted a new Aircon pump today (second hand but known working) but it does not work!

It LOOKS alot better than the last one, but when i switch the AC on, just the fan comes on - the pump does not start to turn. All wiring looks good and is connected. It is not a problem with the car as i removed the last one due to a fried clutch mechanism (the old one turned, by very jerkily)

Is there anyway to test? how do i make the cluth engage manually, apply 12v to the wire?

any help appreciated

Thanks

goto iluvmyrx7.com and download the hayes manual. It has diagnostics steps to figure out where the problem is. I have the same problem but mine is more electrical.

The relay that you jump is in the front box. Download the file to get the specific one to jump. IIRC its the two closets to the engine bay, not the ones closer to the front of the car.
