FD Aftermatket Radiator Install...

Hey Guys

I’ve seen a lot of aftermarket radiator installs which have the radiator itself sitting upright and just behind what would usually be called a radiator support.

Now, the FD stock radiator mounts are in a totally different place.

How are you mounting the aftermarket item ?

If any has pictures of the mounts they’ve fab’ed up, it would be extremely appreciated if you could post them up.

Thanks….

The radiator is upright due to a front mount intercooler install. When replacing the radiator it goes right in place of the current radiator. If you buy a FMIC kit (greddy, blitz) they supply you with the brackets required to mount the radiator in a upright position.

Most rads are installed in the OEM location when using a SMIC.

You'll see them in a different mounting location if using a FMIC or VMIC setup.
