FD advice..help!

Ok here's the deal... the plan was that I get my car by Sept/Oct 2002... and I'll pay for the down on the car and my dad will handle the monthly payments... i was looking at a 94 RX7 or a 95 Supra TT. The problem is... my dad is now buying a car for himself... a damn Suburban and now i'm on my own when its time to get my car which definitely shrinks my budget even more. Im thinking I should have close to $10-15,000 saved up (hopefully ) by that time next year. I was just looking at some Supras and geez they cost around $25k for a high mileage one (???)... and the FDs are running around $15-20k... what do you think? How much is a zero-mileage new engine for the FD anyway? Either way both cars will be garaged for awhile after I buy it since I don't intend to pile on any more mileage before I go on modifying it. Hmmm...?

Well, the Supra may cost 25k initially, and the RX-7 may only cost 15k initially...but chances are you will spend 10k in repairs or some **** with the 7, bringing the price up to 25k....
