fc oil cooler on an fd

has anyone installed a fc oil cooler on an fd? the fc oil cooler is larger than the fd cooler. the only problem i can think of is finding somewhere to put it with plenty of air! any input is welcome.

I remember talking to Bryan at RotorSports Racing about it a while back - I don't know if he's done it yet, but he was planning on doing the same thing to his personal 3rd gen.

The FC cooler is huge.

Anything can be done but on the fds there is no room to installed an fc oil cooler I know it's bigger how u will installed it? Also I was at the wreck yard about 2 week's ago and i noticed on 87-89 starion tsi has an oil cooler on it and fitting's on top and fitting's has a similliar bolt size like the fds oil cooler but the only problem the starion oil cooler is that it's input and output is on top also it look like the same size of the stock oil cooler. If u are very good of using tools and customizing I guess u can make work on the fds. Or buy the stock one from a wreck yark.
