faulty fuel level sending unit? (after dual walbro install)

hey guys, quick question i recently got my 7 running again after swapping in dual walbro's, everything went smoothly and works fine except now my stock fd fuel guage reads that i have a full tank(all the way about a quarter past the "F" mark) and although that would be nice to have a full tank considering the gas prices these days unfortantly i know thats not the case my fuel tank probably has 3-4 gallons in it at most any suggestions?
my fuel system consists of dual walbro's intank but i didnt mess with anything else any quick ideas or things to look for? thanx in advance

Take out the fuel pump assembly again and make sure there is plenty of room fort the float to move. Also check that the wiring isn't damaged and maybe clean the contacts at the base of the swing arm.
