This is exactly why i think some of these members need to be drop kicked in the throat. Next time read his post more clearly. He said it wouldnt even turn over. and 58K dosent mean dillznick as far as "being due for a rebuild".. The last thing we need is being saying hey... im at 60K miles.. time to change my engine". im pimping it with 70K on my OD and it still has 8.8 comp across all faces.

Thanks RX7... now, you know how to check my ignition switch? It's either A) My ignition switch, or B) The wigin in between the switch and the small terminal on the starter.

You need to take off the steering column covers to gain access to the ignition switch wiring plug and check it with a continuity tester (be sure to disconnect the negative battery cable).

Question

K, got another question. WHat all do I need to pull off to remove that cover that goes around the steering column? Do I need to pull the whole steering wheel to get that off?

Thanks

Hmm, ignore that question above. She's fixed! I started just going around the circuit checking for voltage along the wire that goes to the S terminal on the starter with the key in start... No current was getting through the starter cut relay (the relay that your alarm uses to prevent people from starting your car.) I bypassed that and now she starts right up!
Anyone else have similar problems?
