Fast Idle Control Settings

Per the 1994 FD factory manual, the "B" adjust screw sets the fast idle cam position; no problem since it is calibrated to ambient temperature. I use the "C" mark since local ambient is close to 25°C (77°F).
But the "A" screw, which is supposed to be adjusted for releasing the fast idle cam at 131-149°F coolant temperature... how the heck do you know when that temperature occurs?
How do you folks deal with that?
