Crossed the country...twice...once in 51 hours once in 3 days. Only blew out a hardpipe coupler on the way back.

To the beach and back. Like 3-4 hundred miles.

Then I drive 100+ miles everyday commuting to work.

1300 miles just stopping for fuel and food, plus the motor was on its way out made the trip like a champ.

lol me and timmazda are taking my fd on a LONG *** trip next september or october, corvallis, OR taking 20 and 201 to chicago. then going down to Nashville, then to orlando, then across the lower states to sacramento, then back up to home, 6730 miles roughly, itll be fun, but i will hopefully either have a new motor in my car or a medium single by then, still diagnosing my current motor issues.

I drove to Vegas then back, 550 miles or so. During the process I lost a y-pipe gasket and clutch master cylinder, probably do to the heat. My advice is make sure the car is strong and up to it, change the oil and carry an extra quart to top it off, maybe some extra coolant too. Good luck

oil, oil filters. full metric toolset. but i might have an ls2 in it buy then. ive been having problems with this motor and its my daily driver so i might converto to an ls2 and then build a high horse rotary that i dont have to drive constantly. sad part is i think the ls2 will get better milage
