Fan wiring gauge

Hi all, just extending my fan wiring for a v mount setup , any one know what gauge wire I should be using to cut and extend the connectors ?

12AWG or 14AWG will work just fine. Make sure you use stranded wire.

I was able to get more than enough length on the fan wires simply by unwrapping the harness a few inches and rerouting the fan wires. Wrapped it back up again and good to go.

damnit, already cut the wire to see what wire I need hahah oh well, Ill try opening the harness and connect them back up if I have to. thanks
