Fan quit working

My radiator fan quit working, just one of the two. What should I check for being wrong? Fan motor?

first check for a bad fuse, then check if your fan is getting power, if not go back and check the relays, if the fan is getting power and the fuse and relays are fine than its time for a new fan motor!

One of my fans is currently not even attached to the motor (the second one, not the main fan).. it's just resting against the radiator

Only noticed when I pulled everything out to swap my twins... it was all hidden under the intercooler and ducting. I should really get around to fixing it before summer rolls around.

If it's just one fan that's not working, most likely the fan motor is dead. Run power straight to the fan motor and see if it runs. If not, dead fan motor.

I hit it with the fans on ( don't ask) and it started moving again, but slowly. The fan wobbles horribly, then proceeds to die again. What can I do about the fan wobbling? Some kind of bearing?

Sounds like that fan is dead. More specifically, it sounds like an internal continuity problem, maybe brushes. If that's the case, you'll need to replace it.
