Fan question

Hey guys,
quick question. I put in a new radiator this weekend, and had to buy slim fans for the car. Everythign went in ok, but the Fan that I got, only came with 2 wires, ground and power. Whereas the original RX7 fan had a plug for 4 wires. After the ground, any idea what wireless i need to connect to the power?? No matter what combination i put it, the fans would not turn on (damn near blew up my engine sigh).

Should i connect all three (of the 4) original wires to the power wire? will it short something?

I know I cna do an automatic switch, but i don't want to leave that up to me, i'd rather have the car turn the fan on automatically.

Thansk guys.

Tom

the stock fans have all those wires for the different fan speeds, and to hook them up to the relays and all that get them to run after shut down. sorry i don't know all the ins and outs of the wiring, just that mines screwed

look up the fan stuff in the manual, or maybe even in the electrical manual for the specifics. you could always just hook it up straight to the battery (with a fuse) and put a switch in the car to run it by that. you'd lose the cool down after shutoff which is pretty important though...so uh yeah
good luck!
