i got a 1994 tryin to do the fan mod on the inside. when i take the ecu out i see the black box everyone is talking about. but what wire do i tap into? theres NO wire just dangling with a female spade connector. just the black box with five wires coming out of it. any help please? i did a search already!

The connector you are looking for does not come out of the little black box but from the basic harness in the same area. Did you check the total area for the little black female spade?

An alternative solution is to run your grounding switch directly to the water thermo switch, but then you would have to find that.

 

I had to actually unbolt the ECU from the car and pull it away just a bit. IIRC, the wire was tucked up and behind and I couldn't see it/find it. It's there though.

 

hm...ill check for it again tonight. i have pfc so the ecu is just there. looked behind there many times and didnt see it anyone have a pic of the location of the wire?
