just a quick question guys seeing we are on this topic,

my only mods are cat back exhaust and soon an ARC intake box , will the FC THERMOSWITCH be a good idea for me to go ahead with.

Actually im just gonna get a Temp gauge and monitor my temps first and go from there.

Pay attention, man... he was talking about running a switch inline between connections that he would make between the fan, battery, and ground... without a relay or fuse. Not the same thing!

I think anytime would be appropriate.

Both the FC thermoswitch and a decent aftermarket temp gauge are worthwhile regardless of you car's current modifications. Both are relatively easy too..... Thank you Mr. Clark.

Here's a trick that may acomplish your goals. Before going to the autoX, pull the A/C relay. Now with the A/C button depressed, and the blower on, your fans will run on low independent of the engine temp, and will switch to high when the thermoswitch closes. the A/C Compressor will not run

thats a good idea. and thank you for the info. i plan on doing that, and i suppose that could also work on any car huh? it won't cause any parasitic drain in power though will it?
