Fair deal?

Sup fellas.
I just got my 95 rx for 18,000 even with 27,800 miles on it. I did all the used car procedures on Robinette's site and no immediate problems popped up.It passed the car faxs check everything in this car is legit. The body and paint is still good and no mods all stock.

I was wondering is if I paid to much for this car.
Thanks for your time.
Oh one other thing to all you arsonist about to flame me for asking a newbee question sorry in advance.

It all depends on the average market value of the car in your area. Meaning that the same car can sell for different prices in different areas.

Sounds like you got a good deal IMO...

$18K for a (I'm assuming it's clean) '95 FD w/ 27,800 original miles? If you're in Cali, that's on the low end of what they usually go for here, ~$19K - $20K! Congrats on the buy!

You got a great deal. FDs with under 30k miles often go for over $20k.

because people treat the car like $h!t
in MOST cases (not all) people will drive it literally like they stole it and boost constantly and constantly drive it hard. they think "oh i have a twin turbo and i can beat ANYONE!!!!! so they feel they have to prove it and race old ladies in an 89 civics to show off...

these engines are prone to blowing unless you have the right mods (e.g. GET A BOOST CONTROLLER before enlarging the exhaust system...overboosting will blow the motor)

my car came like that...there was so much shaft play on the turbos and so many cracks on the manifold that its as if the previous owner never STOPPED boosting.

treat it well...change the oil regularly, do some good reliability mods to keep temps down and boost under control....the engine will last well into 100k
