After driving my car pretty hard the other day i noticed that a faint fuel smell coming from my engine bay. I'm thinkng the pulsation damper or the fuel injectors are beginning to go out. I ave 117k on the chassis, does anyone know how I can tell whether it's eithr one of the two?

 

They are at the same place and you need to pull the injectors out to get to the damper. So, inspect both when you do the job. Heard it's a bitch to do it yourself so taking it to a good shop would be good.
