Factory pre-cat

Factory pre-catalytic converter (between turbos and midpipe)

If you still have this, go here:

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...=1#post5902496

It is recommended that you install a downpipe as a reliability modification to reduce the heat and to prevent the pre-cat from clogging up (which it eventually will) and frying the turbos. The downpipe by itself will not cause any kind of overboosting, and you will gain 10 horsepower along will cooler temps, and slightly better sound/look.
Not to mention reduced turbo lag. So buy it. Now
