Factory Head Unit and CD Player?

I recently purchased a used Factory Head Unit and CD Player for my 94. The person i bought it off of said it worked perfectly.

Anyhow I hooked everything up, and the Radio works fine. All the Lights and the Screens work fine on both units. My problem is, when i put a CD in, the Player accepts it, spins the CD for just a second, then spits it back out at me. Same for the cassette player.....

Any ideas?

Contact Panasonic in LA, CA. They are the mfg & do repairs. The CD player alone will cost you $180 + . Comes with a 90 day warranty.

I went through 3 used CD players before I finally gave up & sent my original one in.

Hell, for that much i will just get an aftermarket Head unit.......i am just wondering if this stuff is junk or if it can be easily fixed?

If just my CD player did it then i would just get a new setup....but since both, the cd and cassette player are doing it then i was hoping its some small easily fixable problem...

There is no easy fix unless you know how to repair stereo units (and in that case you wouldn't be asking here about it).

You have 2 options:

1. http://carstereohelp.com/mazda.htm
2. Get an aftermarket unit
