I have a 94 rx7. Factory alarm. I have to unlock my passenger door before my driver in order for alarm to not sound. Any one know what to check or what is causeing this?

 

When this has happened to me, it is that the sensor inside the handle had come loose. So I would take the handle out. (remove the plastic cover from the inside, 1 bolt, 1 nut, then genitally pull out the handle from the out side). The sensor is on a plastic connector around the key hole bit (it is a technical term ) If it is like mine then it was broken off. Repair it the best you can. If it is not broken, I would take off the sensor and make sure it is clean and put it back on. I hope this helps, and I'm not liable if you break your car.

 

welp fixed...wire was disconnected. door has been replaced so guess they didnt connect it when they switched it.
