factory alarm malfunction

hey guys. ok i searched a lot for this problem but i couldnt find a solution. for the past week or so, the stock alarm in my 93 touring has been malfunctioning. it starts going off for no reason at all. at first i thought maybe someone tried to steal it, but it keeps happening at random times now. i dont want to just disengage it so it isnt active, but i seem to have no other solution. any help with this would be very helpful.

happened to me

the exact same thing happened to me... turned out that the sensor/button on the driverside door was about to break....it finally broke and now that little button went all the way in and the car no longer knows when the driverside door is open..
