factory alarm headach!!!!

please, can anyone tell me how to disconnect the factory alarm , its mucking up my new alarm system, please!

Sounds more likely that your new alarm system was installed poorly and is mucking up the stock system. In either case, the installers should have correcty disabled the stock system if they were not going to coexist. There are a number of ways of doing this - do a search and you will find multiple threads on this topic.

Remove the drivers side kick panel.
Unplug the white 20 pin connector.
Unplug the white 8 pin connector that is directly above the 20 pin connector.
Reinstall the kick panel.

and thats it

Rotoboy's method will work... however you may lose the functionality of the passanger door unlocking/locking along with the driver's door.

What i did was tap into the hood pin switch in the driver's kick panel then ground that wire to the body. This will disable the stock alarm.
