When folks say disconnect the 20 and 8 pins. Are they referencin the plugs at the top of the cpu 2 ?

Well I was having issue with the alarm going off when I unlocked the doors.

My goal was to disable the factory alarm. I ended up grounding the sensor wire behind the hood latch. Problem solved!

I think the reason the alarm was going off is because of an issue behind the driver door lock cylinder.

Either way I am fine now. Thanks for the reply.
