Extra dashpots anyone?
Okay, I've been reading alot on the dashpot and have a question. I have a half BP car and it's pretty modified. When I plug my tps in it wants to stall when I let off the gas quickly so I need a dashpot. I've seen someone create their own, but I've also seen alot of guy don't bother using them. Is there anyone out there that would consider getting rid of there *working* dashpot? If not, I'll have to purchase another TB.

I have the gauges out of my car so I can't start it up to check my settings. I believe on the PFC from top to bottom it's like 1300 1200 1200. Not sure about the tb screw or how to check it. I have my tb off replacing the oring and gasket and just cleaning it up. I don't have the fast idle system or isc. Actually the only thing I have on my tb is the tps. All of the rest has been removed and blocked off. It's funny though, with the tps unplugged the car does not stall when I come to a stop but after driving it the idle stays around 1500-1700. With the tps plugged in the car wants to stall when stopping. Not sure if it fixes the high idle though. I'll be doing the tps adjustment when my orings get in by the end of the week.

The screw underneath where the elbow bolts up (Air Adjustment Screw i think it's called)----close it (screw it in clockwise) all the way, then open it up about half a turn.
