Extra Connector on Bose Tube? - Pic

As I was removing the Bose Tube to have the amps shipped for repair, I noticed that there was an extra connector on the tube that didn't connect to anything! I checked the wiring diagrams and manual, but I couldn't seem to find the existence of it. Anybody know where the heck this goes to?

I asked about that in the audio section a while back and didn't get a response. Maybe its a test connection. Where are you getting them repaired and how much?

I had them shipped to carstereohelp.com where they say they repair each amp for $80 each, but I'll let you guys know what they actually charge me.

I have the same extra plug and can't find where it goes. The Bose system still does seem to work fine though.
