Exhaust wheel

Hey guys, this has been bothering me for a while since i first noticed it and i thought i'd ask for your advice.

Recently my stock seq turbo blew so I took it out. It was the primary turbo that blew and at first, I thought maybe i could get it rebuilt so i seperated it from the exhaust manifold, but i kept the housing on it. There was some serious shaft play and the compressor wheel was in really bad shape, but i noticed that the exhaust wheel was entirely gone... The other turbo is fine no damage, no shaft play and has nothing missing. I looked all around my garage for the exhaust wheel thinking maybe i did take it out but just misplaced it. But i couldn't find it.

I decided to buy another stock setup off someone from this forum so i'm not worried about rebuilding this turbo im just worried about what could of happened to the exhaust wheel.

Is it normal that the exhaust wheel is missing when the turbo blew? Do you guys think that it just ended up somewhere in the exhaust? Could it have gone anywhere else? Because of the fact it's missing is there anything else i should inspect that could of been damaged because of all this?

Thanks guys for your help in advance.

The stock nuts are right hand thread, so they have a tendency to come off.

Its probably sitting in your cat. You should pull the cat and get it out of there. Unless you still have the pre-cat, then its in there
