Exhaust systems sounding like a Ferrari

I really love the high pitched tone and the metallic blast when a Ferrari is going up it's revs.

Do you guys know which exhaust system I should go for to achieve that sound without sounding ricey/like a tin can?

I currently run a PFS 3" downpipe, stock cats and mufflers.

Not sure its phsyically possible.... but... you could get a used ferrari engine over 50k miles, for less than 15 grand say out of a 01 modena....That would be a sweet *** conversion, do not think it would work without extensive labor...but damn you would have one sweet *** car and the ferrari sound!

Not to mention the incredibly crude design and construction.

Try the Racing Beat duals. Nice and quiet when you're at part throttle, but a great sound when you open'er up.

A rotary will never sound like a Ferrari. Your best bet would be a 3 rotor with a Racing Beat exhaust if you are going simply for sound.

I think great sound is in the ear of the be-holder. IMHO, I've never heard anything better than my Greddy SP while on the throttle. But when it comes to looks, and no highway cruising "drone", I think Kento is right, you can't beat RB Duals.

A rotary will never sound like a ferrari due to the nature of the pulses per rotation. Burn yourself a CD of F1 soundtracks and drone out your exhaust with that

Ferrari's at anything other that screaming revs sound like *** too. I dont know if anyone has had extensive time around them but in the area I work I see one a week and while I still like them the stock exhaust on them sucks hardcore. They sound like Sentras with the mufflers gutted.

I want to hear the RBdual tip still -- it seems like my best bet. I need to fix my exhaust leak because I drove a 100% RX with no leak and it was dead quiet. I think a DP/MP + stock catback will be my setup for awhile as the RB and any other setup is expensive.

Yes. I also heard they tend to run hot and are expensive to maintain.
But people still love 'em because they're relatively rare, very fast, and look great. Mmmmm.

My neighbor used to have an F355. He said the thing was virtually always broken and on the way to the dealer! It looked cool though.
