Question exhaust and stock twin heat sheilds???

hey guys

im just about to finish up my rebuild (ill post pics and a video or two when i am done) and wanted to know if the exhaust manifold heat shield and the stock twin turbo heat shield are both necessary to go back into the car.

not to mention i went to pull mine out about a week ago and they both crumbled to rust! hah... anyway, any info would be helpful!

thanks!

stavro,

its not really necessary.....

But it ALWAYS helps to have a way to control the immense amount of heat the twins produce, even with a downpipe.

you could also take the manifold and twins sent out to be heat coated as well.
